Larry Black - Drums & Vocals |
 |
I got my first set of drums at age 15 and played in a couple teenage garage bands. At age 19 I was playing Blues and Rock and Roll all around the Toronto, West Hill and Ajax areas. Life just got a little too busy for me to continue my passion for drums.
When I hit my Fifties I decided to pick up the sticks again and started Jamming with the likes of Grant Fullerton of Lighthouse and other well known musicians. Currently playing with bands such as Blue Mood Band in Peterborough and Baxter Creek Band from Millbrook, I'm taking a opportunity to do what I really enjoy, joining a bunch of great players and showing that I can still drive a set of drums. |

Moved to Peterborough in Jan 2008 from St .Catherine’s where he played in a classic rock/blues cover band called Borderline - borderlinekicksass.com. About 12 years ago he put down the guitar in exchange for filmmaking - writing and directing a bunch of short films. But then, a couple of years ago he had to actually get a REAL job to support his family & about the same time picked up the guitar again with re-newed enthusiasm.
Influences: Jeff Beck, Hendrix, Albert Collins, BB King, Stevie Ray, Clapton, Sun house, Page, Henry Miller, Derek Trucks, Vidar Busk, and the list goes |

| Dave Picco - Bass |
 |
Dave started his musical ride back in the late seventies playing with different Rock and Country bands in and around Toronto and toured the Great White North (usually in the blinding snowstorms and most of the time in a van with a limited heat). Dave took some time off in the eighties to raise his family. Music took a back seat then and after his children were raised and on their own, he went back to what his passion was and still is...Music.
Dave’s musical styles are: Blues, New Country, Rock, Classic Rock, Rockabilly and Old Rock and Roll and some of his musical influences are: Robert Cray, Delbert McClinton, AC/DC, SRV, Jeff Bates, Jake Owen, Georgia Satellites, ZZ Top, Savoy Brown, Buddy Guy, Buddy Holly, and CCR to name a few. Dave’s bass gear includes: Fender Jazz bass , Yamaha, Ibanez, Gibson, and Yorkville.
Dave really enjoys Music, Song Writing, Poetry, Home Renovations, Carpentry, Welding, Problem Solving, and Muscle Cars and credits his wife as being the biggest influence in his life. |
